For some Freemasonry is all about making new and lifelong friends. For others its about contributing positively to humanity by having the opportunity to offer assistance to those in need and to the society. However, for most masons, becoming a freemason is simply a hobby.
At London West Africa Lodge (LWAL), we are fraternal, charitable, non-religious and non-political organisation. We welcome good men of high moral standards from all walks of life regardless of race, religion or social status.
New members must not expect to obtain material gains from their memberships.
We strive to advance in masonic knowledge and uphold the universal principles of Freemasonry.
LWAL is governed by the Book of Constitutions (Craft Rules) of the Ancient Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons published under the authority of the United Grand Lodge of England. This contains the general Charges, Laws and Regulations that all members of LWAL subscribe to.
